About Summit

Summit Footwear & Apparel is owned and operated by Richard & Jocelyn Brunner.  Richard is a fifth generation Invermere local.  He moved from the valley many years ago to attend university and settle in Calgary.  He enjoyed the city life but Invermere was always considered home.  Over the years along with his wife, Jocelyn, they enjoyed many long weekends and holidays in the valley.  As Calgary became busier and babies joined their family, the dream to live and raise their children in a small town was irresistible. 

They packed up and moved to Invermere and opened Summit Footwear in September 2008.
