About Summit

Summit Footwear is owned and operated by Richard & Jocelyn Brunner.  Richard is a fifth generation Invermere local.  He moved from the valley 12 years ago to attend university and settle in Calgary.  He enjoyed the city life but Invermere was always considered home.   Over the years along with his wife, Jocelyn, they enjoyed many long weekends and holidays in the valley.  As Calgary became busier and baby Ireland joined their family, the dream to live and raise Ireland in a small town was irresistible. 

In September of 2008 it became a reality.  They packed up and moved to Invermere and opened Summit Footwear on September 11, 2008. 

The Brunner Family is pleased to announce the birth of their second baby, Embry Grace. She was born in Invermere on June 9th, 2009.
